Milling spindles

In jackshafts used in machine tools, clamping media, coolants and lubricants as well as oil need to be passed through the spindle. In this case, sealing is carried out with radial seals. However, lubrication is often poor and so the seal becomes severely worn. In addition, the simultaneous severe friction regularly causes very high temperatures, expanding the spindle. The result is inconsistent dimensions among the workpieces.

Deesys seals are designed to minimize friction between DEESYS SealModul and DEESYS CeramicCoat. This ensures the lowest possible temperatures in the sealing system combined with the highest resistance to wear. The successful result is a long service life coupled with low temperature development.
