Rotary unions enable liquid or gaseous substances to be introduced into a rotating shaft. Single-channel and multichannel rotary unions are available, enabling one or more different substances to be transported at the same time. The individual ducts are separated from each other by seals. However, these seals aren't always able to lastingly withstand exposure to abrasive substances on both sides.

Deesys seals have been specially designed to cope with the flow, pressure and lubrication conditions arising when substances flow side by side. The result is fewer leaks coupled with high process stability.
